I would also run a narrow piece, say two inches wide along the top shelf, then you can secure the entire thing to all the studs along the back wall for stability. I’d also secure the inner uprights to the back wall with some metal L brackets at floor level. You’ll never see them once stuff is in the closet. Another thought..
