The Bullshark only appears after you finish the Heavy Metal "campaign" (a series of flashpoints). A custom 95t mech by HBS, included in the Heavy Metal DLC. the problem is that the Chassis_def.json for the mechs in heavy metal and flashpoint are all under a special archive file which I, nor others it seems, have the means to . BattleTech's third (and final, for now) DLC drops with seven classics alongside the bespoke new Bullshark, accompanied by enough new lasers, missiles and mortars to turn .
Heavy Metal will be accompanied by a free patch, which will include two additional BattleMechs; the fan favorite Marauder-class and the Warhammer-class chassis. Those who . The chassis file is the one to edit, changing weapon locations makes the load out less frustrating for example. You do not want to run up against an enemy piloting something .Fuck that guy"), and the non-canon brand new Bull Shark (95 ton assault with a unique artillery piece and an interesting story part of the Heavy Metal flashpoints). Each of these new mechs has a unique special quirk like the Warhammer and Marauder do, most of them are pretty overpowered. This DLC was very power creep-y.
The warhammer and marauder .json files can be found in the chassis folder, since they are added "vanilla" content that require no DLC, simply using a text editor to edit their chassisdef.json's should work just fine.

I served as art director and concept artist on Heavy Metal, the third and final expansion for Harebrained Schemes Battletech. . Urban Warfare, this one was almost entirely mech focused and I was given the opportunity to designing my own mech, the Bull Shark. You can read more about what went into that in my dev blog https://forum.paradoxplaza .Bull Shark M3 with 4x ++UAC/5 and a bunch of MLs/SRMs. A bit more flexible than the Annie, and the extra jumpjet actually makes a big difference. . UACs are vanilla but require the Heavy Metal DLC, same as mechs like the Annihilator, Bull Shark or the Archer. ERMLs are vanilla and no dlc required but they're lostech, so you basically need . Given the fact that PGI has been helping HBS's BattleTech game by giving them their assets, I'm not surprised to see the Bullshark end up in MWO sooner or later. It's good to see the mech in the game. As for HBS BattleTech, I really need to play the Heavy Metal DLC. I haven't touched it in ages. Edited by Will9761, 14 May 2024 - 06:47 PM. Description []. The Bull Shark is a 95-ton assault 'Mech described as a "Heavy Brawler.". The BSK-MAZ is equipped to engage targets across a fairly wide range bracket with its somewhat unusual arsenal. Most of its long-range firepower comes from a Thumper Artillery Cannon that takes up most of the right torso. This is backed up by two extended range .
Do not disrespect the Urbies! Urbies got chassis quirks for free +armor and structure. They are tough little trashcans. Especially with XL, MRM30 or an Arrow IV :) Next version will have a "TableTop" option if all goes well. Half structure and half armor. And half .Finally - if you are going to buy only one DLC, Heavy Metal offers the most bang for your buck, in my opinion. It offers the most new 'Mechs and it adds a ton of good gear. Urban Warfare adds electronic warfare and the urban biome (plus some 'Mechs and a few flashpoints), and Flashpoint adds the Jungle biome and the majority of flashpoint missions.

You don't need Modtek for a simple mod like this, where you are just changing a chassis. It's part of the Heavy Metal expansion, and (rightfully) locked behind a relatively long questline, but the BullShark M3 is definitely the thing you want for an LRM boat. . If you have the Heavy Metal DLC, nothing beats a Bullshark. The non-clan version has room for 4 LRM-20s, enough ammo for 12 units of fire, AND space for a few ER MLs .Posted by u/BenX41 - 15 votes and 30 comments

You'll need to ask others about this, but it is possible. Yes, it’s possible using an assetbundle extractor to change the big Assetbundle file but it’s dangerous if you make a mistake; make sure to make a backup file. Named Bull Shark, it's a beefy assault mech with devastating cannon which can only fire twice per one mission but the damage it deals across a huge area of effect can demolish objects and buildings in one shot. . The design screams “I wanna invent a really cool mech, and it’s going to do everything because it’s so cool”.
Been playing BT with XAI and happen to go routing around some of the data files looking for little tweaks here and there and noticed something rather odd.
